Abstract

Thermal properties of Zn3B7O13X (X = Cl, Br, I) boracites have been investigated at the vicinity of the ferroic phase transitions underwent by this triad of crystals. The cubic --> orthorhombic phase transitions in these compositions appear to be first order.
