Abstract

The new bi-metallic inorganic-organic hybrid compound {Mn-4(2,2'-bipyridine)(2)Sb4S10} was synthesized under solvothermal conditions. Its 2D-layered network contains distinct heterocubanes constructed by SbS3 pyramids, MnS6 and MnN2S4 octahedra. The interconnection of these units leads to a layered structure with ellipsoidal rings with pores of dimension 7.8 angstrom . 8.8 angstrom. (C) 2014 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
