The basis of my work is to analyze the parameters geoelektrochimical two different objects of research (the Baltic Sea and the Lake Ladoga). The main purpose is: "The proof of the applicability of the method in search of various environmentally hazardous wrecks."
The main objectives include detailed consideration received, facilities, data and compared these patterns of detection revealing the sunken potentially dangerous objects.
The Baltic Sea: Gulf of Finland is characterized by a wide range of potentially dangerous underwater objects. Search, identification of objects, the study of modern ecological state Gulf remains an important issue. The objectives of the study was to:
- Search, refinement of the origin, identification and screening of potentially dangerous underwater objects submerged in the Gulf of Finland,
- Study of the levels of pollution of marine waters and sediments with heavy metals, toxic substances and their transformation products,
- Assessment of current state and forecasting the development of the situation in their areas of flooding, to determine their potential danger to the public.
The goals were achieved the solution of problems, among which were:
1 The development of an integrated research underwater potentially dangerous objects.
2. Search and morphology underwater potentially dangerous objects.
3. The study of the general geo-ecological situation in the flooded areas of objects.
Lake Ladoga: The composition of the work included: the implementation of electrometric measurements using a digital station "SHELF M", processing the information and interpretation of data. The basis of interpretation was to compare electrometric anomalies (identified by the methods of the natural electric field, and electrochemistry) from seismoacoustic (identified by the side of a geolocation), and on this basis, locating objects, the calculation of their size and opinion regarding their nature.
Purpose: Find and geo-ecological survey of potentially dangerous underwater objects submerged in the waters of Lake Ladoga during the Second World War. The main objectives were to:
- Search for underwater potentially dangerous objects on the selected test sites - Exploring the negative impact of the identified objects in the geo-ecological condition of polygons.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of the applicable range of research in solving the problems.
During the following results were obtained. Studies in the Baltic Sea has been identified 14 wrecks and are potentially dangerous are not everything (objects 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, etc.)
The main results of work should include:
- Finally worked out methodology, technology and interpretation of complex research study sites, including modification of geophysical measurements;
- Identify areas of further improvement of the apparatus used for geoacoustic, radiometric, and electrometric fototelevizionnyh observations;
- Clarified a number of options underwater potentially dangerous objects identified previously found and explored new; - Made ecogeological assessment of how the objects themselves, as well as adjacent areas of the waters.
Studies in Lake Ladoga were identified 20 sites: at the range 1 - 1, on the range 2 - 8, at the range 3 - 7, on the range 4 - 4. Of these, identified 10. Completed works have proven the effectiveness of complex techniques developed for sea conditions, the search for potentially hazardous objects submerged in the waters of the freshwater of Lake Ladoga. Among the geophysical methods in Lake Ladoga, the best results were obtained seismoacoustic electrometric and modifications. The possibility of simultaneous measurement methods side-view location, the natural electric field, electrochemical profiling (with ion-selective electrodes).
The results of work performed are as follows:
- Study the level of contamination of bottom sediments, bottom and surface water with heavy metals, petroleum, radioactive substances, as well as the impact of pollution on zoobenthos.
- Geoecological conditions at the sites characterized by the absence of significant changes in the environment compared to the background, studied in 1989-2001 VNIIOkengeology years.
- Effect of potentially hazardous objects underwater makes no significant contribution to the overall geo-ecological state of Lake Ladoga
- To justify the optimal method of searching and studying on underwater potentially dangerous objects freshwater bodies of water.
