Abstract

The electrical conductivity of SrSn1-xFexO3-[delta] increases with the Fe content and reaches a value of ~10-1 S/cm at 25°C at x=1. Compounds with low Fe content exhibit both ionic and electronic conductivity, while the higher Fe content perovskites are mainly electronic conductors with a conductivity independent of the oxygen partial pressure over a wide range from 0.21 to 10-22 atm.
