Abstract

Extreme synthesis: High‐temperature/high‐pressure synthetic methods have been used to prepare the first actinide aluminoborate, UO2[B3Al4O11(OH)]. This material displays rich coordination chemistry and remarkable thermal stability despite being a hydrous phase.
