Abstract

Oppla is a 1-dimensional plankton ecosystem model based on optimal-growth formulations for phytoplankton and zooplankton.

Oppla allows for variable stoichiometry of primary producers and vertical migrations of zooplankton.

This version includes the forcing and parameter files for simulating zooplankton seasonal vertical migration in the Labrador Sea.
